For a unique, old-west experience, all of our cabins are made of solid, full round, 10 inch logs with large overhead beams.. Four cabins are 16’ X 20’ with a bathroom built onto the side and an open loft. Each of these also has a covered front deck overlooking a pond, with surrounding mountain views. Enter the sliding glass doors and you find a double bed and closet on one side, and a small sitting area on the other.
Off of the sitting area is a modern bathroom with shower. Also on the main floor are a propane stove or a propane heater, a dining table and chairs, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a sink, small refrigerator, 4 burner stove top, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans, silverware, dishes and utensils.
Each of these cabins also has an open loft with two single beds, or one single and one double bed. We can also provide rollaway beds, cribs and cots with mattresses for additional guests. We want this to be enjoyable for everyone, so we don’t allow more than five adults or older children per cabin since it just gets too crowded. The basic cabins rent for $95 per night for one or two, and $10 for each additional person.
We have one larger cabin that sleeps up to eight guests. This is an expanded version of our basic cabin. It has a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a full kitchen, a larger living room with a sleeper sofa, two beds in an open loft, and a larger dining room with a big table. This cabin has a wrap-around covered deck overlooking a pond and a small stream. It has a propane heater, but also has an electric heater made to realistically look like a wood stove with fire. It rents for $135 per night for two, and $10 for each additional person.
Note: Cabin #7 is currently under long term lease so it is unavailable.
Sleeps up to Five Separate Bedroom w/ Queen Bed Larger Living Room Full Kitchen Large Bathroom w/ Washer & Dryer Air ConditioningWe also have a newly remodeled, larger cabin that has a separate bedroom with a queen sized log bed; a larger living room; a bathroom with shower, a full kitchen with stove/oven and large refrigerator; and a large bathroom that also includes a washer and dryer. This cabin also has its own gas grill and an uncovered deck that overlooks horse pastures and the Bitterroot Mountains. The upgraded sleeper sofa in the living room opens up for a second bed. This is a good cabin for those wanting more privacy for sleeping arrangements or for those who are staying longer and have need of laundry facilities. This cabin also has air conditioning. It rents for $115 per night for one or two, and $10 for each additional person.
We provide coffee filters, dish soap, bar soap and shampoo. We also provide all linens, (but not daily housekeeping.) The cabins have electricity, clocks, radios, books, magazines, puzzles and table games, but do not have televisions or telephones. Usually, by the second or third day, our guests tell us they are glad that they don’t have phones and TV’s. Some cells phones work on the ranch. Others require a drive down the valley to reach a signal. We have a telephone in the office for guests to use, should that need arise.
Check-In Time is 2:00 p.m. Check-Out Time is 10:00 a.m. unless approved in advance by the hosts. Please adhere to these times so that we can have time to clean the cabins before the next guests arrive.

Susan Crown Point, Indiana"Great history! Love the ’55 List of Things to Do.’ Think we did many already and came up with a few ourselves. Loved the pond…wish I had ice skates! We all enjoyed the train. It was great being so far from everything…very relaxing without cell phone service. Thank you for being great hosts and we hope to be back again."
